Dr. Thomas Umschlag becomes general manager

Since october 2017 Dr. Thomas Umschlag is general manager of PRIMES GmbH.

He is leading the company together with the owner Dr. Reinhard Kramer. In his new position Thomas Umschlag will focus on the advancement of the sales and marketing activities of PRIMES.

With a doctorate in chemistry, he can look back on almost 20 years of sales experience in the international B2B environment of products requiring explanation and laser technology. As sales manager in various international companies in the mechanical engineering and laser industries, Thomas Umschlag gained relevant strategic and operational leadership experience.

The 47-year-old Thomas Umschlag will accelerate the presence of PRIMES in the market through targeted optimization to more customer orientation, more efficient processes and flexibility. His focus is on strengthening sales activities and expanding international market presence.
