Measurement under real operating conditions
PRIMES produces sophisticated devices for beam diagnostics and monitoring that analyse real process parameters under industrial operating conditions.
The portfolio ranges from flexible power measurement with the PocketMonitor to measuring devices integrated into manufacturing technology, such as the PowerMeasuringModule or the FocusParameterMonitor. PRIMES products combine optical, electronic, mechanical, physical and software technology expertise into a ready-to-use device.
Devices for integration into systems have standardised fieldbus interfaces such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, CC-Link and others.
Our measuring devices are of modular construction and can be combined according to the demands for recording the quality of the laser beam. Whether it be measurement with thermo-sensors or CCD – the technology required for measurement and evaluation is developed entirely at PRIMES and implemented in equipment engineering solutions. This applies not only to the hardware, but also to the software in the devices used for function control and also data capture and analysis.
PRIMES LaserDiagnoseSoftware LDS is the control centre for all PRIMES measuring devices that measure beam distribution and focal geometry. The software determines the particular beam propagation properties based on these readings. The beam profile and beam path are represented graphically, and the readings are saved for quality assurance purposes.
